Charlotte,
I was actually hoping for more plot in this。 If you just want spice and minimal story definitely read this。 It's so short and simple and very easy to read。 I really didn't care for any of the characters but it was fun to read nonetheless。 I was actually hoping for more plot in this。 If you just want spice and minimal story definitely read this。 It's so short and simple and very easy to read。 I really didn't care for any of the characters but it was fun to read nonetheless。 。。。more

(Page 140/DNF 61%) I felt the urge to DNF from the beginning, prompted mainly by the FMC。 (view spoiler)[Her backstory felt hard to believe。 Growing up ignored by her family, enduring that kind of treatment, she gets thrown into an asylum but still doesn't grow a spine? Then when she gets out, she gets taken by her monster to another world, and still no spine。 She seems very "meh" as a heroine。 I find it hard to continue stories where the main character is just "meh。" (hide spoiler)]I will admi (Page 140/DNF 61%) I felt the urge to DNF from the beginning, prompted mainly by the FMC。 (view spoiler)[Her backstory felt hard to believe。 Growing up ignored by her family, enduring that kind of treatment, she gets thrown into an asylum but still doesn't grow a spine? FantasticIs it hot in here? Cause after reading this your surroundings will heat up。 This book is absolutely fire with sex and hot monsters。 I absolutely want the second book like yesterday。 Amazing job Mila and C。R!
Kaylee,
quick entertaining read with some interesting characters。 I felt like the FMC wavered slightly on her personality; couldn’t decide if she was strong or not。 The story was a bit choppy and some of the MCs had some descriptions that contradicted themselves but overall engaging enough。 The human world portion of the story felt rushed but once you got into the monster world, there was some more substance。 Interested to see where the story goes; ends on a major cliffhanger。
Jennifer Woods,
started strong…Started strong neat idea。 Got bored half way through。 It was just a bit generic and just meh。 I finished because I won’t to know what happened but I’ll honestly probably forget about it enough to not read the second one。

Abrupt ending。 Not long enough。 Boring beginning

TerribleIn the first 20% of the book, I was so aggravated, I couldn't go on。 Pure misery。 Her joke life was shit, her school life was shot, and she was put in a crazy home for no good reason, for years, and the doctors were too dumb to know she didn't belong。 Sex dreams are completely natural and no doctor that graduated would force you to take meds to get rid of them。 Pure ridiculousness。 TerribleIn the first 20% of the book, I was so aggravated, I couldn't go on。 Pure misery。 Her joke life was shit, her school life was shot, and she was put in a crazy home for no good reason, for years, and the doctors were too dumb to know she didn't belong。 Sex dreams are completely natural and no doctor that graduated would force you to take meds to get rid of them。 Pure ridiculousness。 。。。more

I don't know what to say。 C。R。 Jane's and Mila Young's Monsters Plaything have me all twisted up and my brain fried。 I don't know what's happening but there are monstrous monsters who possessively covet their girl, a soft heroine who may make decisions in the now, and a heck of a lot of sex。 I mean。。。 dang。Blake has one of the worst families I've ever come across。 I mean, they were horrible people and I have no idea why Blake is hanging on to the human world when it offered her nothing but I can I don't know what to say。 C。R。 Jane's and Mila Young's Monsters Plaything have me all twisted up and my brain fried。 I don't know what's happening but there are monstrous monsters who possessively covet their girl, a soft heroine who may make decisions in the now, and a heck of a lot of sex。 I mean。。。 dang。Blake has one of the worst families I've ever come across。 I mean, they were horrible people and I have no idea why Blake is hanging on to the human world when it offered her nothing but I can see why she's reluctant to say with the monsters as well。 It's a huge complicated mess。As for the monsters, they are a unique bunch, and while I can say a couple of them are all in, the others have me giving them a look out of the side of my eye。 There is a reluctant connection like they don't wanna connect to Blake any more than they are but Blake is also in denial about some things as well。 No matter the bumps in the road, things seem like they may be working themselves out。There is a lot going on, a sex club likes of which I have never seen (the kink is real), partying, an actual asylum, sex, a murder mystery, sex, fighting, and did I mention sex。 I have a few questions about Blake, about the monsters' past and their true intentions, and about what's going on in general。 Monster and Me is a duology so I hope to get answers soon in Monster's Obsession, especially after an ending like that。 。。。more

Spicy PNR! Blake thinks she might just be insane when the monsters she has dreamed of show up in real life and take her to another realm。 However these monsters only want to offer her pleasure, as it’s what they feed on。 The monsters are oh so dominant and swoon worthy when they want to be。 The ending has me excited to see where this series goes next! TW/18+ 4。5/stars

This was so good! Loved the monsters and the FMC。 Blake is tossed in an asylum after witnessing something she shouldn’t have and ends up dreaming every night about her monsters。 But are they real????This was so good, the world building was brilliant and all the monsters were a little bit different。 Can’t wait to see what happens next after that ending!!

MP started out slow to medium to where things are getting interesting now but only for MP to end on a cliffhanger。 Interesting plot indeed! Good world building, good characters & some who grows on you as your read。 There are more questions than answers such as [insert spoiler] so not to do that, it's just a lot of whys for now。 It's going to be a long wait for the conclusion to this duet that's in September。 MP started out slow to medium to where things are getting interesting now but only for MP to end on a cliffhanger。 Interesting plot indeed! This book had a very interesting twist on how the monster world and human world were intertwined。 I think that the author did a great job on addressing certain particulars about the monster world that are normally ignored。 I did find the beginning a bit hard to keep straight but I think that was because the authors put a lot of work into developing an imaginative world。 I will be reading book 2 when it comes out!
