Our FMC Blake is tossed into an asylum by her father after witnessing something she shouldn’t have。 Whilst in the asylum Blake is visited in her dreams by monsters who ravish her every night。 As situations change the only thing keeping Blake in the asylum is her dreams， so to enable her to live her life she agrees to taking medication to stop the dreams。 Once she is let back into the world the monsters appear and take her to Wyld。 I enjoyed reading this book it was very good for introducing you Our FMC Blake is tossed into an asylum by her father after witnessing something she shouldn’t have。 Whilst in the asylum Blake is visited in her dreams by monsters who ravish her every night。 As situations change the only thing keeping Blake in the asylum is her dreams， so to enable her to live her life she agrees to taking medication to stop the dreams。 Once she is let back into the world the monsters appear and take her to Wyld。 I enjoyed reading this book it was very good for introducing you to the characters and the world but I was left with lots of questions come the end。 I’m looking forward to reading the second book in this duet for some more action and to answer all these questions that we were all left wondering at the end of book one。 Blake at times could seem a bit naive but then she has been kept from the world for all of her life。 I felt the dynamics between the monster （Creed， Ash， Seven and Tempest） was great giving you a mixture of sweetness and darkness， I look forward to hearing more from them and possibly seeing more of their darker sides。 There is spice in the book but a lot of it I felt faded to black just as the good stuff happened， I would have like more description and content on these scenes。 All in all this was a good read and I would recommend。 I will be reading the next book to complete the duet。 🌟🌟🌟🌟/5 。。。more

quick entertaining read with some interesting characters。 I felt like the FMC wavered slightly on her personality; couldn’t decide if she was strong or not。 The story was a bit choppy and some of the MCs had some descriptions that contradicted themselves but overall engaging enough。 The human world portion of the story felt rushed but once you got into the monster world， there was some more substance。 Interested to see where the story goes; ends on a major cliffhanger。

I don't know what to say。 C。R。 Jane's and Mila Young's Monsters Plaything have me all twisted up and my brain fried。 I don't know what's happening but there are monstrous monsters who possessively covet their girl， a soft heroine who may make decisions in the now， and a heck of a lot of sex。 I mean。。。 dang。Blake has one of the worst families I've ever come across。 I mean， they were horrible people and I have no idea why Blake is hanging on to the human world when it offered her nothing but I can I don't know what to say。 C。R。 Jane's and Mila Young's Monsters Plaything have me all twisted up and my brain fried。 I don't know what's happening but there are monstrous monsters who possessively covet their girl， a soft heroine who may make decisions in the now， and a heck of a lot of sex。 I mean。。。 dang。Blake has one of the worst families I've ever come across。 I mean， they were horrible people and I have no idea why Blake is hanging on to the human world when it offered her nothing but I can see why she's reluctant to say with the monsters as well。 It's a huge complicated mess。As for the monsters， they are a unique bunch， and while I can say a couple of them are all in， the others have me giving them a look out of the side of my eye。 There is a reluctant connection like they don't wanna connect to Blake any more than they are but Blake is also in denial about some things as well。 No matter the bumps in the road， things seem like they may be working themselves out。There is a lot going on， a sex club likes of which I have never seen （the kink is real）， partying， an actual asylum， sex， a murder mystery， sex， fighting， and did I mention sex。 I have a few questions about Blake， about the monsters' past and their true intentions， and about what's going on in general。 Monster and Me is a duology so I hope to get answers soon in Monster's Obsession， especially after an ending like that。 。。。more

Well， this story is something I was for sure not expecting。 The world we are introduced to is very interesting and unique。 Quite hard to understand at the first and still mysterious at the end of the story。 There is so much to see and to live there。 Even architecture of the Wyld is something greatly described。Characters are unique as well。 The monsters were created with lots of imagination， described with hight details， each with it’s own character， look and they are really deep thing going with Well， this story is something I was for sure not expecting。 The world we are introduced to is very interesting and unique。 Quite hard to understand at the first and still mysterious at the end of the story。 There is so much to see and to live there。 Even architecture of the Wyld is something greatly described。Characters are unique as well。 The monsters were created with lots of imagination， described with hight details， each with it’s own character， look and they are really deep thing going with them。 I would for sure not like to encounter them in real，life， even less let them touch me， what to say about something more brazen than that。 But they still have this something that makes you forgot sometimes how they look。 They have lots on their plate and at the end they are all alpha， often brutal often going by primal instinct。 I can’t say I like them all， something is not so right with them ， even for the monsters。 I hope to learn more ins on them in the second book。Blake， as on the opposite， seem way too meek to me。 Like she is just “surfing on the wave”。 Somehow I can’t like her at all， it’s just as she is not matching the greatness of the rest of this book。 We have quite an insight into her past， how she grow up （and I for sure would not be right in my head after all she lived through）， and we have snippets of how much she care for her monsters， but yet I can’t deal with the way she is acting and behaving。 I hope she will change， grow and be the heroine that this story does need。Plot itself is quite interesting as well， however I grind my teeth more than once in frustration because of some of characters’ actions。 There is still so much to see， to grasp， to understand and surely to develop。 But despite me disliking some parts， bunch of triggers and frustrating main character I honestly can’t wait for the next part because I simply need to know how it finish。 。。。more

This book had a very interesting twist on how the monster world and human world were intertwined。 I think that the author did a great job on addressing certain particulars about the monster world that are normally ignored。 I did find the beginning a bit hard to keep straight but I think that was because the authors put a lot of work into developing an imaginative world。 I will be reading book 2 when it comes out！
